Emrah Akay, started his advertising career at Cenajans Grey in 1995. Then he worked and lead creative teams at agencies: MovidaPlusMAP and Güzel Sanatlar Saatchi & Saatchi.
In 2012 he took the creative leadership of Leo Burnett Istanbul. He’s led groundbreaking work for clients like Fiat, Samsung, McDonald’s, Diageo, P&G and Jeep. In 3 years he and his collegues won over 60 awards including Cannes Lions, Epica, Eurobest, Effie, Golden Drum, AdFest, Cristal Awards and local award festivals.
Akay is also a writer and a musician. He’s got a music album and his first book “Why Do I Exist?” has been published in 2014.
